I’m trying.
That’s really the best thing I can say about my life right now. I am trying to change everything that’s making me unhappy. But I worry that it won’t work, I’ll have wasted all this time, and I’ll just have decades of an empty, unfulfilling life ahead of me.
Well, I know this will mean absolutely nothing (coming from random anonymous person led here by reading Snarksquad on the interwebz), but I sincerely hope things get better. You are way too talented (and hilarious on Snarksquad) a writer to have “decades of an empty, unfulfilling life ahead”, so my completely “FWIW” advice? Focus on your talents and WRITE! Don’t let your gift go to waste. If what you’re doing with your writing right now isn’t fulfilling, then maybe just find ways to branch out and use your skills in a different capacity.
I mean, I don’t have Sandy Cohen’s eyebrows, but I did see them on TV, and on more than one occasion (both eyebrows were raised and lowered dramatically as he was dispensing pearls of wisdom, and I pretty much took notes). Meaningless random poster advice or not, that kind of pedigree is hard to ignore.
Be that change. Best.
I just saw this- thank you, I appreciate it!
