My mom was offering me some things she had that she didn’t need. One of them was one of those little egg-holder things that come with the refrigerator.
I was thinking…why in the world would anyone need that thing? Is the box that the eggs came in somehow insufficient? I mean, it takes up the same amount of space and tells you when the eggs expire. Why would you ever need an egg-holder tray?
It’s almost as unnecessary as the word aglet.
My fridge has an egg-tray holder that I rather like using, only because my fridge leaks and that cardboard they come in gets gross. What makes my egg-holder tray even better, however, is that it has space for 20 eggs. Not 12, not 24, not even 18! But 20.

Hey, Kyley!
I'm probably overthinking this, but that seems like your egg holder assumes that you'll get two dozen eggs and use the first four right away.
